With Florida being one of the best vacation spots in the United States we have chosen the five best affordable RV campgrounds in the state just for you. Enjoy!

Florida Caverns State Park

If you are looking for a place to escape from the common beaches of Florida then this campground is for you. It is number one on our list, because it is extremely inexpensive at $20 a night and it also has some of the coolest features amongst the options. As the name states, there are
caverns for you to explore which contain many unique underground rock formations that are difficult to find anywhere else. You can also go for a hike in the woods to get away from the typical large crowds that are found within the state. It is the perfect state park for your getaway.

Topsail Hill Preserve State Park

This state park is much more of your typical Florida beach getaway with its amazing sand dunes and beautiful blue waters. We highly suggest this campground to satisfy all of your swimming or paddling needs. This state park is also unique for its rare ecosystem which has an abundance of different wildlife species. With three miles of near-perfect beaches you can easily find your own spot for the day or if you would rather hike around on the beach that is also an excellent option. The cost at this campground is $42 per night.

Anastasia State Park

This state park is quite similar to the one that we have just discussed above however it is much much larger. Rather than 3 miles of coastline, this state park boasts 1,600 acres worth of beaches, sand dunes, marshes, and different locations for you to set up a hammock. Although you can paddle at the other state park, this option is much more oriented towards kayaking and canoeing so you can either bring your own equipment or rent it from nearby stores. This is third on our list, because it has less campsites than the previous two options. Cost vary from $16-$42 a night.

Fort Pickens Campground

If you are looking for the option that is closest to the water then this state park is for you. It lies on Santa Rosa Island just off the shore of Pensacola which makes for some of the best views that you will find at any campground in the state of Florida. It is about a ten minute walk from the beach and has splendid views to take in. The beach offers white fluffy sand and is one of the pretties in Florida. The cost is $40 a night.

St. George Island State Park

As you may expect with Florida, this is another state park full of beaches but what it is most well-known for is in fact stargazing at night. Even though the views are spectacular, what puts this campground fifth and last on our list is the difficulty of reaching the campground. Again it is on an island which makes for great views however there is only one bridge entering and exiting the island which can make for some really rough traffic. The cost is $16-$42 a night.
