Best RV Campgrounds in Arizona

In line with our recent articles today we bring you the best RV campgrounds in Arizona, enjoy!

  1. Grand Canyon Railway RV Park

As the name suggests, this campground puts you right on the edge of the Grand Canyon. It is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful national parks in the entire country. As for the railway specifically, it comes into the campground so you can hop on it and go right to the national park. This makes for a great way to get to the park and avoid all of the traffic involved during those long summer months. This RV park even has a pet resort so it is fun for everyone!

  1. Eagle View RV Resort at Fort McDowell

This resort is located near Scottsdale and has a lot of local culture involved. Even though it is not in a national park, the scenery is just as beautiful making for a great getaway from the crowds if that is what you are after. Now this truly is a resort as there is a casino and golf course on the property for you to enjoy if you would like. We highly recommend this option for a fancier getaway, but with less people at the same time.

  1. Leaf Verde RV Resort

What makes this option different from the rest is that it is actually a family owned and  has been running for over thirty years. It is tucked into the base of the mountains in Phoenix which also makes for some great views. As for the attractions in the area there is a raceway and zoo nearby which will keep you occupied for hours. The only reason why this option is third on our list is due to the tight spacing of the campground, putting you close to your neighbors.

  1. Distant Drums RV Resort

With this campground there are less activities to enjoy, but the scenery is just as beautiful. It is safe to say that you will enjoy the beautiful views of the red rocks of Sedona and have fun walking through the wide pine forests as well. If you are not as much into nature there is a casino here as well but that is really it.

  1. Superstition Sunrise RV Resort

This campground is right on the outskirts of Apache Junction which makes for just the right balance of seclusion and inclusion at the same time. The resort is also massive with over 45,000 feet of area so you can expect some above average privacy at this campground. With it being near the town there are also lots of restaurants and shopping areas that you can explore in the evening. At the campground itself there is a pool and spa as well as a dinner show, so it is very fine camping.
